Max, or Rowdy Rascal Max was our first Great Dane. He was from a excellent breeder in California. He went through confirmation and obediance, and Max and Amy did pretty well in the ring. We won a number of blue ribbons, but, sadly, we moved to NC before he could finish. The NC show circuit was very different. It was less friendly, more clicquish, and difficult to get involved with. Max and Amy decided to retire early.
